NATALIE GRILLON, co-founder

Natalie Grillon has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of business and social impact. She began her career working in sustainable community development in West Africa and the US, before being selected for the Acumen Global Fellows Program. That role took her to Uganda, East Africa to manage a smallholder farmers program for organic and fair trade produce. From these experiences, she co-founded Project JUST to help change the way people shop for fashion. She brings experience in supply chain transparency, online network & community building, fashion and marketing communications, business development, fundraising, innovation and operations in emerging economies.

Manuela Zoninsein, co-founder

Manuela is a Brazilian-American passionate about accelerating change in some of the world's most fundamental industries. Currently, she works at Palantir Technologies focused on international business development. She is also an early stage impact investor, supporting women-led companies focused on urban sustainability solutions.

Previously, Manuela was an entrepreneur in the agriculture space in key emerging markets. She is the cofounder of InstaAgro, Brazil’s largest online marketplace for smallholder farmers; and the founder and CEO of Smart Agriculture Analytics, a Beijing-based market intelligence firm focused on the sustainable agritech opportunity in China.

Having spent eight years living in China, initially on a Princeton-in-Asia Fellowship in 2007, and reporting for Newsweek and Engineering News-Record, Manuela has seen first-hand the importance - and environmental impact - of manufacturing, changing consumer behavior, and media.

Sarah berner donahue, board member

Sarah Berner Donahue is an investor, advisor, strategist, and hedge fund leader. She has served as Managing Director of the $4 Billion hedge fund, Aristeia Capital, since 2012 and she has worked in the asset management space since 2007. From 2003 to 2007 she was in journalism. She is Founder & Chief Investment Officer of One House, her private investment group that focuses on investing in female founders, brands that empower women, and impact-positive companies. Sarah is a Partner and Board Member of the investment firm, Gratitude Railroad, and is a staunch believer in capitalism as a force for good. She has served as Advisor and/or Chief Strategist to brands and initiatives including Olivia Palermo, Misha Nonoo, Rūh, Happy Not Perfect, NYU’s New Standard Institute, and the Resolution Project. She is the Founder of The Real Senior Prom, a non-profit that addresses the loneliness epidemic, particularly in the elderly population. She holds a B.A. Honours degree in Political Science and Economics from McGill University. After living and working in over 10 countries and on three continents, Sarah now calls Manhattan home. She resides in the East Village with her husband and their 5-pound Chihuahua.
